The General Showing at OPAL Theater

Join Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days for a special showing of Buster Keaton’s silent-film classic The General at The Opal Center. Filmed in and around Cottage Grove in 1926, this beloved movie is part of our community’s own film history. This showing helps celebrate the 100th anniversary of The General and supports the continued work of Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days and the 2026 festival.
