Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days is about more than preserving history; it is about staying connected to the people who helped shape our community.
Through our Senior Connections program, we visit local senior living facilities once a month to share stories, local history, music, conversation, and community connection with residents.
These visits help keep the spirit of Bohemia Mining Days alive throughout the year while honoring the generations who have carried Cottage Grove’s traditions forward.

Each visit is a chance to celebrate memory, tradition, and local pride with the people whose lives and stories continue to shape Cottage Grove.
Our current monthly visits take place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
