Our inaugural golf tournament and fundraiser brings 18 teams together at Hidden Valley Golf Course to support the educational programs of Bohemia Academy and the year-round mission of Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days.

Driving For Gold is an 18-hole, 4-person scramble built around friendly competition, great prizes, community support and a shared commitment to preserving and teaching local history.
The 2026 tournament has reached its maximum capacity with 18 registered teams. Team registration is closed, but the Wait List remains available and sponsorship and donation opportunities are still open.

Proceeds from Driving For Gold support the educational programs of Bohemia Academy and the broader year-round work of Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days in education, local history, youth engagement, community collaboration and historic preservation.

Each tournament entry includes a $10 food voucher for El Rincon. The El Rincon Del Taco food truck will be on site, so golfers can grab lunch at the turn or after play during the awarding of prizes.
